What does Moroland do?

Moroland's main function and mission is the propagation of knowledge, the practical use of, and the study of  ancient and modern Filipino/Indonesian martial arts and their weapon use, raging from simple brooms made from the coconut tree, fire-hardened rattan sticks, bow and arrow, to the advanced metallurgy of finely crafted swords, spears, knives, shields and even personal body armor... the historical information and the science behind these skills are as vast as the Philippine/Indonesian Archipelago themselves....

Some of Moroland's members also create their own weapons and share metal smithing knowledge with other MMAA members. Most of MMAA members, if not all, are students of  various Filipino and Indonesian  martial arts systems and the alike, and anyone who is interested in learning Filipino weaponry and how the Filipino's used them through their systems can join upon the approval from the MMAA Advisory Board of Governors.

Texoma Martial Arts joined the Moroland Association in mid- 2007, and our members can apply into the MMAA during normal business hours.
