Workshop I will provide analysis of the body's vital points and how to use them to your advantage via strikes with and without weaponry and in the grapple.
Workshop II will present the parts of the body that are natural weapons,
largely because they are very injury resistant and can be effectively used to injure or kill an opponent,
also, to use of weapon in conjunction with your body...

III goes into the crazy world of low blows and blocks for fighting a
standing opponent from the ground that could easily save your life!

IV teaches you how to pick up and use improvised weapons you can find
around you during under the stress of an actual attack and show how to

In these TMAA/MMAA/PAC workshops, we explore the fascinating bladed weaponry arts of the Pacific Archipelago and from around the world, the techniques and weapon technologies used within them....
The workshop starts promptly @ 11am until 1pm*

in the day before that siege at the Alamo,
Jim Bowie and his custom
made knife became the stuff of legend after the famed and deadly "Sand Bar" duel...
Not long after the deadly fight ensued, "Bowie Knife Schools" sprang up all through the Southland teachin' Bowie's supposed "style"... Today,
modern knife combatives are much different than back then, so, we will
discuss and explore those differences and the technologies used past
and present....
What to bring:
One Heck of a LARGE practice knife!
(BLUNT, NON-CUTTING wood/aluminum/plastic will do!)
